Are you allowed to wear body armor in Public?

Generally, yes. Depending on what state you’re in, wearing body armor during the commission of a crime may be an enhancement (allowing for a stiffer sentence for that crime on conviction) Or a separate criminal offense. A few states prohibit felons from wearing body armor. If you don’t fit into one of these categories, you can usually knock yourself out and wear body armor all you want.
